UltraPlayers, the minds behind Super Snail and Gumballs & Dungeons have just announced its latest project called Hello World, which is a roguelike exploration RPG coming to Android and iOS. It takes players on a chaotic journey as ancient creatures and plants are coming back to life while an alien invasion is taking place on a mutated Earth.

Hello World takes place in 2023, the year when the Intergalactic Special Championship was scheduled to take place on Earth. To level the playing field, the Cosmic Cube dials back Earth’s clock in order to bring back creatures that have been extinct for millennia. The new generation of humans now has a fierce rival in their path.

Players will assume the role of the second-in-charge of the Eastern Division, Squad Number Three of the World Saving Organisation. They must assist the Commander in protecting the planet. All the aliens and prehistoric creatures have descended onto the Earth and it is up to players to ensure that their home is safe.

As players progress through the game, they will realise that what they see may not be the truth. There are twists and turns at every corner and the lines between what’s true and what’s false have begun to blur. Players must choose carefully what they believe in as their choices will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.

Since Hello World is a roguelike, its maps are procedurally generated, giving players a new experience each time. The creepy yet delightful world is full of easter eggs and secrets waiting to be uncovered. Players will also find valuable items that provide boosts required to tackle certain enemies.

Finally, players can make use of the special Guyver system, which allows them to fuse with different creatures and plants to create a more powerful hybrid. It takes merging to a whole new level.

Well, that’s all we know for now. Hello World is currently targeting a 2024 release. Visit the official website for more information.
